Open World Russian Exchange - Environmental Education and Management of Lake Champlain and Lake Tahoe
A group of five environmental management and education professionals from Russia conducted a study tour of Lakes Champlain and Tahoe in the U.S., 24-28 September 2005. After a four-day visit to Lake Champlain, the delegation traveled to Lake Tahoe for four days. The group held meetings and conducted site visits related to environmental management and education on the two lakes.
The exchange was organized in cooperation with the Tahoe-Baikal Institute with a grant from the Library of Congress Open World Program.

- Russian delegation visits Lakes Champlain and Tahoe
A five-person delegation visited Lake Champlain in Vermont and New York and Lake Tahoe in California and Nevada to learn more about environmental education and management efforts on these two important lakes.
