Exchanges Among Environmental Specialists on 20 Lakes in the Former Soviet Union and in Eastern & Central Europe

This exchange program is a follow-on to the "Nine Lakes" Exchange Program which was completed in December 2000. With a generous grant from the Trust for Mutual Understanding in 2001, participants from the first phase of the exchange program implemented activities identified in their individual action plans. The emphasis of the second phase was to expand the geographic scope of cooperation through a regional dialogue on lake conservation in the Former Soviet Union and in countries of Eastern and Central Europe.
