Wetlands (Ramsar Convention)
This project is no longer active as of 2005.
LakeNet has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ramsar Bureau for the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance.
The agreement was signed at Ramsar's 11th meeting of the Scientific and Technical Review Panel (STRP) in Gland, Switzerland by Delmar Blasco, Ramsar's Secretary General, and David Read Barker, President of LakeNet. LakeNet has also been formally designated as an Observer to Ramsar's Scientific, Technical and Review Panel.
